Ever since I moved from Sacramento to Manteca CA, I’ve been searching for a spot for Striped Bass. I have lists of Aqueduct from Tracy to Santa Nella, I’ve been through some of Aqueduct, I have lucked by the beginning of the year with a 25″ Striped Bass but, it’s been dead out there. I visited my old stomping ground 20 years ago (Clifton Court Forbay) and for the 3x I’ve been hear talking to local fishermen, they are using Bluegills and Mudsuckers if you wanted to capture a big size Striped Bass and so far, its been effective. It’s a long wait but it’s worth it! Enjoy!
