Snowball Classic Kayak Bass Fishing Tournament in December CJ Brown Reservoir Ohio CKF

One of the highlights of the Cincinnati Kayak Fishing season for me is the annual Snowball Classic. A fun tournament outside the Angler of the Year points race, sometimes it involves more holiday flair than fish caught but it is always a great time! This year the Snowball was held at CJ Brown Reservoir in Ohio which gave us the opportunity to fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass, plus tournament sponsor Strictly Sail & Kayak threw in a bonus $25 gift card to any angler who caught a walleye or muskie (and in the end Strictly Sail sent the gift card to every angler who fished!). I didn’t catch any fish, toothy or otherwise, but I had a great time getting out on the water in December and fishing one more time with all of my CKF buddies!
