  1. Im not against scoping but i was in the upper peninsula smallie fishing on a smaller lake where ive maybe seen max 2 other people in 3 years. This dude launches his boat drives right up on the flat we werefishing and proceeds to scope within 40 ft of megoing back and forth scoping and casting. Eventually he got so closeto the otherguy that the dude roared off in his boat and the dude scoping jumped right on his spot. First time ive had that experience. Then his kid proceeds to catch a 4.5lbr and his dad nets it never high fives the kid, yells in excitement, doesnt take a picture no atta boy or anything just goes back to his seat and starts scoping again.

  2. I couldn't agree with you more But, as long as companies that produce live scope pay anglers to use them them guys that can afford it are going to buy it. Good luck getting an angler to not take the money. Just like LIV golf, MLB, NFL or any sport it's always been about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ It's not fishing

  3. A sportsman is someone that does not take an unfair advantage over his quarry. LiveScope is an unfair advantage. It's not sporting and it's not something that skilled anglers would use.

  4. Hey Randy I think it takes all the fun out of fishing it takes the hunt away. It's a lot more rewarding when you catch your fish on your side imaging or down imaging or flashers . Me myself I don't think all this fancy equipment is necessary to catch them. Me and my step brother went out for years and yrs with nothing no fish finder could not afford it and we still caught bass in the boat and bank fishing. And I don't mean catching one or two bass either. Thanks for the video Randy and God bless you and your family.

  5. Fishing as a co-angler at the Toledo Bend tourney. Both days started shallow and I start slaying them. The minute that started happening both days the anglers moved offshore and started video game fishing.

  6. It seems dramatic to fault a guy that was planning on using a tool to his advantage, the tool breaks, so he tries to fix it. If your trolling motor broke on a practice day, would you drift or use an anchor to keep your position and continue fishing, or try and get it repaired before the tournament? If you were planning on using side scan to find structure and cover and it broke during practice, would you try and fix it before the tournament? If your outboard broke during practice would you try and fix it? Are the other guys just as pathetic as the Livescope guy or is it somehow different? Also, do you really think he couldn't catch fish without livescope or are you just dramatizing it to make your point? You use a boat when you fish, does this make it pathetic that you can't fish from shore and catch fish, or is that that you could fish from shore and catch fish, but a boat is a super useful tool at your disposal?

  7. It's Sad that So many anglers have become Dependent on Live Scope. I feel that if it was Outlawed during professional tournaments, a large amount of anglers wouldn't be able to compete.

  8. I’m sorry, i don’t agree with anglers who prefer not utilize modernized electronics for fishing in any aspect! Unfortunately this technology has generated tons of of money and probably won’t go anywhere and growth to the sport. Forward facing sonar doesn’t guarantee bites, it simply gives you an accurate reference point for a cast! It’s almost like taking steroids and not working out. You still have to fish to generate a strike. I believe it’s a great enhancement to the industry and has definitely made it more exciting. Just my opinion🤷🏾

  9. I'm actually pretty surprised you're whining about the technology… I wonder how bridgeford feels about their top guy complaining that other people have some advantage over them when that technology is available to him himself… I guess it's just time to step the game up Randy. I'm sure there are plenty of people on your bridge for team utilizing livescope/forward facing imaging.. nobody ever said they couldn't fish without it but if you're fishing against guys with it I guess you better get in the game or the game is leaving you behind..

  10. Hey man, you placed that high with NOOOO live scope! Much respect. WE ought to EV bomb the next tournament and watch 75% of the anglers pull their boats out of the water. …"Screwing" the co-angler comment is just plain SAD! Unfair!

  11. Thats absolutely absurd i do have livescope but do not use it to drop shot I cant sit there looking at the graph . I had competitors tell me the livescope users could not find fish without it. I saw a ticktoc video with a guy with 2 20in montiors .
