Finding the big bass pattern

Today I’m fishing A-1 retention area of the Everglades, a 17,000 acre impoundment. Regulations only allow cartop small boats , no trailers allowed , so I’m using my 1542 Jon boat. The problem today is that it’s hot, sunny and with no water movement . Bad pattern conditions. I catch a few small ones on topwater, a few more on worms against the hyacinths and next to nothing on a spinnerbait and a Chatterbait late in the afternoon I try worms in the deeper stickup and immediately started catching big trophy bass. I figured out the pattern!

  1. You, Mr Roland ,are a man with immense knowledge of fishing! I would be a great fisherman , if i just had the knowledge you have forgotten…๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘I enjoy your channel !

  2. Roland, most of the lakes I fish here in Arkansas the water is pretty clear. I see that you use a lot of braid there in Florida. Is there a braid that I could use here in clear water? Thanks for all the great videos you put on YouTube. ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿฆƒ๐ŸฆŒโค

  3. So if I can get my 18 foot aluminum john boat strapped to the hood of my Volvo I could use it? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'll be down there in the spring from the panhandle and I am going to hit this spot for sure.
