Fall Transition | Kayak Bass Fishing Bull Shoals Lake

The Fall transition is finally here and that means big bass are moving shallow to feed up for the winter. The beginning can be kinda rough but fishing only gets better from here on out. It’s a great time to jump in the kayak and chase shallow water bass on Bull Shoals lake.

  1. For the love of all what in the world is wrong with catching and eating something God himself created and ate. Would yall rather there be an over population and them just starve to death. Why is it so hard to understand? Everyone knows why The Lord made animals on land and water and air. And all of them for humans and other animals to eat. If it bothers you to see a fish put on a stringer the way God intended it then damn stop watching. Go on to one of the other millions of videos. Believe me you won't be missed here.

  2. Great catches! I've never caught a smallmouth bass before, just largemouth bass (which I love). But I've caught a red fish (42in). Mean fight! I need to expand my horizons. And venture to lakes north of Texas.
Do you use drop shots a lot?

  3. Nice bass!! That big one was a jumper WOW!!
Maybe try a small swivel on your hook/line to keep your bait from sliding down into the hook gap .
Thread the swivel on your line before you tie to your hook. Nose hook the bait. Before you hook the middle part of the bait, put the tip of the hook through the other end of the swivel, then finish hooking the bait. That's a Roland Martin tip.👍 Google swivel Texas rigged worm .
Or after rigging just poke the end of a toothpick through the worm and hook eye and snip it off , I find that works 😃👍
Thanks for the fun fishing show!!
