Kayla and I hit the river to test out her new rod and reel on some smallmouth. Needless to say, the new rod worked out great for a quick afternoon of tossing jerkbaits!
As summer winds down, smallmouth fishing can be electric depending on time of day and outside temp, these fish did not disappoint!
