#fishingtips
I throw this exact bait on my irod 7'4 medium finesse swimmer and I can cast it really far and it has great sensitivity. Either I'll use the okashira head or an 1/8 keitech ball head.
I am so confused that you have a hard time with spinning reel you must be wanting very long casts I apologies I don’t fish like “ Erie “ for small mouth and need long long casts sorry my comments are stupid now that I figured that out
Are you new to bass fishing ? Because some of the things to me sound maybe tech challenged ( not being a troll truly curious) with casting light weight baitcaster just lighten spool and keep as flat as possible and then follow through with soft cast and keep rod swinging up don’t cast down and don’t throw over hand just low I turn magnets off on all reels they are not needed if you practice I promise it’s easier and way more control them spinning reel
And yes ons baitcaster I use all Shimano
I don’t understand I launch that head with blades with a 2.8 I am confused why it’s hard to cast it’s not even light as bfs then I cast 1/32 a long ways turn off tension and magnets just move arm same speed as spool and keep rod moving up whole cast it will fly
Ever try using an Okashira head with a twist lock spin tailed Yamatunuki? Me neither. I just thought of it. I've gotta try it my swimming pool.
Core Tackle has a body heavy Swimming Jig designed for boot tail swimbaits coming out soon. It rolls from side to side. No blade or Scrounger lip required.
