  1. Hmm, I never use a weight but you got me thinking differently now. I have a hard time feeling the bite when I use weight. How long after you hop off the bottom do you let it sit?

  2. As always great video. I was looking for this kind of info. 1 question thou,
In a sliding un pegged bullet weight when casting how fast does the weight fall versus the soft plastic if any and I'm sure it does. Can you happen to show that in your pool😁

  3. So if im pond fishing for bass, should I try to go weightless if possible? I have been fishing all week on a 3/16oz weighted texas rig without a single bite. Not much cover. Its pretty wide open. Ive been experimenting all week and starting to think bass fishing just isnt my thing.

  4. Some good information I never even knew of. Seems like every time I use any weight while fishing it’s just a magnet for weeds and snags on everything possible in the water

  5. Tyler – great vid man. Question since I know most Anglers and outdoors types are in favor of conservation (wildlife + habitat): do lead weights contaminate water? Being the expert I am in getting snagged/caught up, while catching relatively few fish, it's something I think about. In other words, if you're just donating lead to the water and not catching many fish…does that hurt the lake/river?

  6. I know you specifically talking about bullet weights when Texas rigging while you’re on a boat, but for many who bank angler I really like and stick with 3/8 ounce bullet weights tungsten and since I cast it’s been my go to. However I predominantly fish in river where current is some times choppy or calm depending on wind. But I also recognize to there is often under current that happens also when I throw like either Texas craw or yum dinger I don’t peg my weight and I let the fall take course until it reaches bottom then I give it some action. But great video nonetheless my guy.

  7. I am late to the game or at least taking the game serious. I been working a local pond in Texas and finally had success on a weightless worm. I am struggling with tying on a leader so maybe Tyler has a video on that lol

  8. Let's say I use a Texas rig on one of these plastics. Do I use a bobber up the line also? Super dumb question probably but I'm just getting into fishing. I don't know when to use one and when not to.

  9. Great advice as usual Tyler. I only shore fish so I tend to go heavier on the weights for more casting distance, esp in summer to go deep where the cooler water is. Right now it's pre spawn so I figure it would be a perfect time to throw some lighter weights as they would tend to be in the shallower water. I'm not going to peg as much either. Love craws and creatures. Don't suppose you could throw me 1 or 2 of your favorites in each category? Thanks again my friend. You make awesome videos!!

  10. it'd be nice if you actually put in your equipment and lures and baits and stuff that you use so beginners can get an idea of what to use and where to get it, probably tackle warehouse lol
