In this video I hit the local pond to test out the all new Yamamoto Yamatanuki. Imported from Japan and released to the American market, this Japanese bass fishing lure has been making the waves across the US. After hearing about the Yamatanuki and seeing a few folks fish this interesting little bass fishing lure I was excited to try it myself, but then I heard about the mini Yamatanuki and was even more pumped. Check out the video and see if this new bass fishing lure is something worth trying!

What are you thoughts on the Yamamoto Yamatanuki?
I never used the small one only the 3.5 inch. I had TONS of issues with hook ups even using a 4/0 and 5/0 Ewg. I started using the 3/0 Gammy med wire flippin hooks. I side hook them. My hook up ratio is damn near 100% now. I rig my Fat Ikas the same way. Maybe a 1/0 Gammy would work better. Also, don't set the hook so fast. Yama baits never get spit out. Slow down a few seconds
Looks like a nice lure! I'm interested in the mini version too.
This is something I have definitely been wanting to try and I think I will soon💯 Great video man🤘🏻
