In this video I talk about swimbaits and specifically Keitech Swimbaits. I love throwing swimbaits for bass and Keitech Swimbaits are some of favorites. I show you the best swimbaits colors that I like to use on a regular basis when I am smallmouth bass fishing. I also talk about some of my favorite ways to rig a swimbaits. I rig a swimbait a lot of different ways. I will use a jig head, pivot head, football, alabama rig and even drop shot swimbaits.

Who is SmallmouthCrush?
Travis Manson was born and raised where the giant Smallmouth Bass of the north live…WISCONSIN. He started fishing from the bank at a young age and spent most of his childhood with a rod in his hand. Travis is primarily a self-taught angler that is always learning and experiencing this amazing sport of fishing. He started out fishing for walleyes and fishing in local walleye tournaments, but then in his mid 20’s, he caught the BASS BUG and has been hooked every since. He competed at the highest level in bass fishing on the Bassmaster Elite Series for a number of years. He is a fishing guide offering trips on the Chesapeake Bay for largemouth bass(year round), guided trips for smallmouth back in Wisconsin (during select times) and trophy smallmouth bass guided trips in Upstate New York (May-November) His Youtube Channel is named after his passion for the smallmouth bass and will be used as a platform for “how-to” videos, on the water instruction, crazy on and off the water topics and vlogs on the day in the life of a fishing addict! Hope you enjoy!

You need a teleprompter boychick! You are all over the place.
Hello sir
What would you recommend for a winter fishing glove from bank ?
Thanks
Enjoyed the content for the most part. At the same time it's a little tough to take seeing you (or anyone) opening large boxes full of free baits while the rest of us scratch to update our tackle boxes before and during the season.
what oz round heads would you throw in the susky?
Hi just wondering what size hook do you use for the 3.8 and 3/3 keitech swing impact fat ? I'm not sure between a 3.0 and 4.0 thank you.
Any question I have about smallmouth fishing one of your videos always answer my questions
I want to say i'm really liking your videos! I'm also want to ask for some advice about fishing the lower Suquahana upper bay. This coming up season will be my first tournament season fishing from a kayak and fishing for smallmouth bass. My first tournament will be launching from Perryville Community Park and fishing Furnace Bay area. I would appreciate anything you could share with me.

I just started using swimbaits on swinging football heads last fall dragging certain areas around Door County, WI with my kayak. I drag either by drifting or going about a half mile per hour by paddling slowly if there is no wind/current to push me. It works and I plan to do more of it this year. Prior to that I had been mostly been dragging a Ned rig. I will see how it goes next year, but the swinging football jig and swimbait combo may just replace the Ned as my favorite bait. Time will tell.
