I like this rod it seems like its really nice for catfishing well that's at least what I'll be using it for. I like the strike tip on the rod so even at low light you can still detect a strike

I'm confused, if black fishing line is basically invisible to fish, then why aren't all fishing lines just black?
I am trying to understand how the swivel holds the worm to the hook. Makes no sense to me.
What if am using my bear hands and line with these lures , would it work as well without a rod

Sorry but your double uni is the worst knot for tying braid to fluorocarbon. Maybe the glue makes a difference, maybe knot (hehe), but a blood knot is a much much stronger beginner knot for this particular situation.

Great tips but I don't believe rod makes a difference. Line maybe? But come to RI and see you can use a $25 spinning combo with line that's on it. Money doesn't make a better fisherman! Just more opportunities!
