  1. Back in the 90's me and my buddies fished that very point you are fishing from shore and we slayed the bass. We used mostly Mojo plastic Crawdads Texas style. The current would come from East to west over the point and the fish would stack up on either side. When we cast out half the time they would eat it on the fall, we could watch our lines jump sometimes before we even began our retrieve. Some days we must have caught over 40 fish.

  2. I fished Perris in the early 90’s, in my customized Jon Boat from Sears, the park ranger liked it and made me an offer, nope! I boated a lot of big Spots around the island boulders with Mann’s 30+ cranks (Who’d-a thunk Spots would eat them like that!) and in the grass by the road bed with a rattle trap. Peace!
