I was watching king of fishing sir henry gilbey and my son casually walked bast and said I didn’t know Susan Boyle liked fishing at this point my 23 year old got what only can be described as a back hander he wasn’t Laughing then the little git.
Just had to share that😂😂😂😂😂
For any type of lure fishing 8ft is the longest id use. The reel what gets the casting distance
Just a load of waffle and no fish
Good Good 👍 gig hyd
What reel do you recommend with this set up guys ???
I’ve been using a 10-12 foot rod for my bass fishing since the early 80s. Not only do they allow for longer casts, but they afford more control when playing the fish. Granted, modern rods with their super technology and faster actions allow for long casts, but I fail to see how they can control a big fish which has to be managed over boulder fields from the rocks. I will not buy a new rod under 10 foot!
If you need a great allround rod just get a nebula 12/42 grams it's the best I ever had. Fishing soft plastics or topwater it does it all!
Slightly away from the topic, but anyone know what his wading boots are?
I always use cheap as chips telescopic rods, 7', 9' 9'6" and 10', which combined with a decent reel – my current favourite the Fin-nor Trophy 40, new from £40 if you shop around on line, and which is a super reel at any price. I can cast, feel, reel and land fish at a fraction of the price of the recommended gear, and have fun doing it without the fear of losing, or busting expensive tackle in the process. The worst that's gonna happen is that I'll get water in my wellies. Just saying. Many thanks H.G. Raymondo
Are these rods available in the US
Where can we buy this rods?
Certainly loves spinning at ninny beach henry
I need to balance with a reel. What reel size/weight do you recommend for the 9' and 9'6" rods please?
There's that regular comment by Henry "of course these aren't ideal bass conditions." So what are the best conditions?
Hi Henry which one would suit for bass and wrasse and which reel would serve me best , thanks enjoy your blogs many thanks
noise
Henry loves a good pounding in the surf , tie him down and he won't tell you what 9ft lure rod he loves.
Effortless 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dear Henry.
Give me 10 days and I will have you competently paddling and self-righting a kayak.
Its worth half this years holiday!
Why struggle to cast beyond the surf when you can sit on the other side of in it having dropped a lobster pot?
😊
Having used the12-46 sgs8 for a couple months I got to say well done Henry, bought for fishing heavy surf yet I have found it works just as well in any conditions with my lighter sps, just need a new reel 😉 😉
Awesome rods sgs5 I have I love it perfect lure rod well balanced casts well 👍
Are they on the market yet? Good review mate 🔥❤️
Brilliant presentation ……….. Is like going fishing !. I'm thinking of getting the SGS8 9' 6" 12-46g as I can then fish all the way from soft lures to surfseekers !. Savage gear is my number 1 brand ……….. everything they do is near perfection, love the qaulity !
