Here we travel up to the wilds of north Northumberland to try our hand for a later summer bass. Conditions are flat calm and gin clear with an evening high tide coinciding with dusk – hopes are high!

Dusk brings a half hour flurry of activity very close in with shoals of bass smashing through baitfish! David persevered with a Patchinko 125 in 500G and was rewarded with two bass off the top as the light began to fade. Gary stuck to sub-surface lures which secured him a nice coalie.
