I fished my first bass tournament in years on Lake Guntersville and got 4th place! We had a shot to nearly win the derb so in this video we recap the key baits – Chatterbait Mini Max, soft plastic worm, hover rig, and more and how I fished them during the solo tournament to place in the top 10.

Man I would love to come and fish with you for a day ! I think it would be Awesome ! I really like the content you put out. I appreciate it. Tight line dude !
Great job! Still the most informative, no BS bass fishing YouTube channel 👊 Thanks for sharing!

Gotta love that trailer… DA JUICE!!!
Great explanation and super clean look! I think the daily tournament goals that I see in BASS FISHING HQ and Millikan fishing is an interesting way to gain some new subs and provide the tournament type anglers with what they are searching for on YouTube.
Man that video wore me out
Ah if you could do me a favor their hey bud, and stop talking about the Mini Max. It would be much appreciated don't cha know. Signed fellow Wisconsinite. LOL
Good stuff!
Mikey unfortunately that's the way fishing goes which you know. Still a great finish. Thanks for sharing 🎣 better luck next time.
You didn't get enough information from your friends, download waypoints, talk to local guides, put fish in a basket or shove weights down their throats. That's how you win tournaments. # hate bass tournaments
It would nice to be in two places at one time to really know what would have happened.
There's so much valuable information in this video on how you approached and managed tournament day. Thanks! And yes, a tournament video would be awesome.
Good vid MB!! Good stuff.
Nice work'¡ would love to see more tourney vids
Love hearing about tournaments!
Sounds like you put a good bag together man. Always tough to say what you could’ve done. Nice job Mikie!
It sounds like you did really well. 4th place in any tournament is a great outcome! Some guys fish tourneys their entire lives and never even crack the top 10!
I fish Guntersville as well… It's such a humbling lake. One minute you're catching, the next you're scratching your head wondering what the hell happened.
Glad you had a good tournament and if you didn't want to film, that is 100% your choice! You give us all such great content and you should DEF have a fun day!!
I was wondering if you have done a video on how to fish laydowns over DEEP water? Like 15' – 20' of water and more.
thanks so much for sharing what's going on in your head in these self-inflicted stress events. your right whether it's trying to just catch more fish with friends or a tournament keeping your head straight is tough. way tougher when the bite is off and nothing is working. way to hang in there like you said a lot of the times a win is just one cast away. best of luck tight lines
I’m proud of you Mikey,4th place is awesome for a guy that doesn’t fish tournaments and one more thing, you do look sexy outside your man bra 😂😂😂🤣 🔥🔥🔥
I say at least an 8 pounder coming off😢😢
Nice Job Mikey….. Great debrief too…. 👍👍
Do it!!!
We kayak the Tallapoosa river from horseshoe bend to the Jaybird creek boat landing. I wear them out on that mini max. I’ve used the micro and mini chatterbait. They’re good, just not nearly as durable as the mini max. Those spots and Tallapoosa bass love em
Heck yeah man!!! Love it! Would love to see a tournament video in the future love your videos !!!!!
Way to assess MBRF, reflecting on the way you chose to ride out the entire day.and point out those forks in the road we all choose in a moment. Do I chatterbait ,or risk it all Fer 1 big flipping bite! Killer run down bro! Thx for sharing! And it's good to measure 🔨 when you think your on em like kvd ! Go do a tournament and feel it ……. competition is how you learn the best strategy 🤙
Your the coolest
Shhhhhhhhh don't tell them about the mini-max. I have been using it hardcore for the last year and a half
