I Nearly WON my 1st Bass Tournament in Years because of 1 Bait: Chatterbait Mini Max

I fished my first bass tournament in years on Lake Guntersville and got 4th place! We had a shot to nearly win the derb so in this video we recap the key baits – Chatterbait Mini Max, soft plastic worm, hover rig, and more and how I fished them during the solo tournament to place in the top 10.

  1. Great explanation and super clean look! I think the daily tournament goals that I see in BASS FISHING HQ and Millikan fishing is an interesting way to gain some new subs and provide the tournament type anglers with what they are searching for on YouTube.

  2. Ah if you could do me a favor their hey bud, and stop talking about the Mini Max. It would be much appreciated don't cha know. Signed fellow Wisconsinite. LOL

  3. You didn't get enough information from your friends, download waypoints, talk to local guides, put fish in a basket or shove weights down their throats. That's how you win tournaments. # hate bass tournaments

  4. Glad you had a good tournament and if you didn't want to film, that is 100% your choice! You give us all such great content and you should DEF have a fun day!!

  5. thanks so much for sharing what's going on in your head in these self-inflicted stress events. your right whether it's trying to just catch more fish with friends or a tournament keeping your head straight is tough. way tougher when the bite is off and nothing is working. way to hang in there like you said a lot of the times a win is just one cast away. best of luck tight lines

  6. We kayak the Tallapoosa river from horseshoe bend to the Jaybird creek boat landing. I wear them out on that mini max. I’ve used the micro and mini chatterbait. They’re good, just not nearly as durable as the mini max. Those spots and Tallapoosa bass love em

  7. Way to assess MBRF, reflecting on the way you chose to ride out the entire day.and point out those forks in the road we all choose in a moment. Do I chatterbait ,or risk it all Fer 1 big flipping bite! Killer run down bro! Thx for sharing! And it's good to measure 🔨 when you think your on em like kvd ! Go do a tournament and feel it ……. competition is how you learn the best strategy 🤙
