What’s up you Dirty Little Hoggers! We are switching it up from the typical saltwater action to take on some freshwater grouper (bass). The conditions weren’t right for the salt so Becker and I take to Lake Griffin to do some local bass fishing on the Harris Chain. We figured to make a friendly competition out of the day and see who’s best five bass would weigh the most! I hope you all enjoyed this competition and if you would like to see more videos like this one, leave a comment!

How we were fishing the lake :
We were throwing speed worms and swimming them through the thicker vegetation in the north end of the lake. Most of the times the eelgrass patches produced the fish with very few of them coming off of the Illinois pondweed (pepper grass). A buddy of ours on the lake also had good luck doing the same thing but with a fluke.

Thanks for watching!
