Well, I guess you can say we were successful at catching some fish during the summer heat. Keep in mind when your out fishing during the summer that if your hot, the fish probably are too. Both fish and fishing tend to slow down when it’s that hot. Don’t be afraid to revert back to some more finesse style tactics to get on some fish. Slow rolling a worm or senko on the bottom, drop shotting structure or grass-lines, and punching vegetation matts are all great tactics to help bring in some fish, despite the heat.
