Lake Riley (Carver) | Lake 7

Our journey brings us to Lake 7 on the road to 10,000 Minnesota lakes! This time, we’re heading to Lake Riley, a smaller lake in the southwest Twin Cities metro area, located in Carver County!

It’s September, and the nighttime temperatures are starting to drop. Fall is creeping in, and the changing conditions are bringing new challenges to the fishing.

But today, I’m battling more than just cooler temperatures. Rain is also in the forecast!

You can’t always pick and choose the days you get time off, so the journey must continue, rain or shine.

Join me as I venture into the jungle of Lake Riley in search of largemouth bass. Will the cooler weather and rainy conditions work in our favor, or will this lake give us another challenge to overcome?
