if you’re hunting for the best lure for musky fishing, this video is for you. I went through real anglers’ stories and ranked four best lures for musky fishing from fine to the one most people trust, so you can spend your tackle budget wisely this season and in the years ahead.

In this video, I break down what anglers say about each bait. One fisherman landed a 40-inch musky in Ontario by ripping a soft plastic swimbait across the surface. Another had a musky follow a bucktail spinnerbait all the way to the boat before losing it at the figure eight. I cover which baits hold up, which need sharper hooks, and which work best for casting, trolling, and fishing weed edges.

Here’s what we cover:

Hard swimbaits for casting long distances
Bucktail spinnerbaits for covering water fast
Soft plastic musky dawgs for big pike and musky
A tough, pre-rigged TPE swimbait that tops the list

If you’re after the best lure for musky fishing on a budget, stay until the end, because the number one pick surprised me. Tell me in the comments which lure has landed you your biggest musky. Don’t forget to like and subscribe for more fishing gear breakdowns.
