Urban Fly Fishing – Austin Texas

Went out to Town Lake with my friend Jeremy this weekend. Absolutely beautiful day in downtown Austin. Started off cool with temps in the mid 70s, but rapidly climbed to near 100F. It was pretty slow and we only caught a few small bass and sunfish. Can’t wait to go again…

Tackle: 11wt SaltPro rod, size 4 chartreuse/white streamer, size 2 grey/white streamer, size 4 grey spinner fly, size 6 white spinner fly.
