In this video, I’m recapping two recent kayak bass fishing tournaments and taking you through exactly how they went.

The first tournament didn’t finish the way I wanted. I had expectations going in, but tournament fishing doesn’t always go according to plan.

Then came the second tournament — on a brand-new body of water I had never fished before.

Somehow, I put together a 5th-place finish AND caught Big Fish of the Tournament! 🏆🎣

I’m breaking down both tournaments, what I learned, what worked, what didn’t, and how I was able to find quality bass on unfamiliar water.

Tournament fishing is about more than just the final standings. Every tournament teaches you something, and sometimes the toughest finishes end up preparing you for the next opportunity.
