I Only Had an Hour, So I Went Fishing

I only had a little over an hour, but it was too nice of a day to stay home.

I headed out in the kayak on a sunny, windy day and found an empty lake, a few small bass, and one really nice pickerel.

Most of the action came on a jerkbait, and sometimes that’s all you need for a good afternoon on the water.

A short trip, but a good one.
