Crushing Big Numbers of Smallmouth Bass on the Delaware River

There’s nothing better than a hot smallmouth bite as the sun starts dropping on the Delaware River!

In this trip, we hit the river for an evening session and found the smallmouth absolutely fired up. Once we dialed in the bite, the action stayed steady and we ended up putting a ton of Delaware River smallmouth in the kayak before sunset.

The fish were willing to eat a variety of presentations, with jerkbaits, swimbaits, and Ned rigs all producing throughout the evening. It was one of those trips where you can keep changing things up and still catch fish.

Beautiful weather, an awesome Delaware River sunset, and aggressive smallmouth bass — hard to ask for a better evening on the water.
