In this video I grab some micro lures at Cabelas to use with my KastKing Zephyr BFS baitcaster. I head to some local ponds to do some spring bass fishing with my new gear! Bass are spawning, pre-spawn, and post-spawn in Fort Worth right now. I did some bed fishing and some fan casting to find some fish. I caught my pb (5.7) at one of the bigger ponds in that area this past Saturday. I was freakin it out.
What line are you using? Just started with BFS throwing 10 lb braid with 6 lb fluro.
What rod (type) were you using with that baitcaster?
Nice video. I bet those white bass would hit the mini chatterbait as well. I have done really good this past week on dropshots and wacky worms for largemouth.
I don't have a bfs but I have a 6-foot 10 medium speed Stick from Lew's that can cast a 1/16 Oz crappie jig
