The Raider | 3 Ways to Fish the Underspin

Meet the Raider — the brand new ultra-compact swimbait from MONSTERBASS, built for pressured water and cold, sluggish bass.

It’s a 2.25-inch body on a pre-rigged 1/4 oz head with a 1/0 hook. Small profile, oversized paddle tail, and a tiny blade on a double crane swivel that throws just enough flicker to turn a follower into a biter. The head is shaped so it won’t roll — it lays flat, hook up, on hard bottom where dying grass and debris pile up in the winter. And the light bristle weed guard deflects cover but collapses the second a fish eats, so you get clean hooksets without swinging like it’s a jig.

The Raider is made to be fished slow. Lift it and let it fall, drag it and pause it, or free-wind it through the middle of the water column for suspended fish. The tail is kicking the whole time.
In this video I walk through the design, then take it to the pool so you can see exactly what the tail and blade are doing at ultra-slow speeds.

Each pack includes 1 pre-rigged jig head and 3 swimbait tails.
