BASS Attempted to Stop Forward Facing Sonar…..and FAILED?

With the new speculation that BASS will reverse their stance on forward facing sonar on the Elite series, does this mean they failed? Did viewership and sponsors stop watching because anglers were not allowed to use technology during half the events in 2026? What would it mean if they reversed the rules for 2027? Does that help them and make them more profitable?
