Episode 3 of my Georgia Bass Slam takes me back to the river in search of one of Georgia’s most unique bass species — the shoal bass.

The goal was simple: catch shoal bass and keep making progress toward completing the Georgia Bass Slam. But this trip didn’t exactly go according to plan. Between missed opportunities, unexpected problems, and losing something I needed to properly document the fish, this day of river fishing turned into a much bigger challenge than I expected.
