My first trip to Lake James, NC! After moving to North Carolina, I finally got the chance to spend some time on a lake I’d never fished before.

This trip was a little different from a tournament day. We camped at the lake, launched the boat, and spent a few days figuring out Lake James and chasing bass. There was plenty of fishing, some good camping, and a lot of learning along the way.

Every new lake is a chance to learn something, and Lake James was no different. Come along for my first experience fishing this beautiful North Carolina fishery.
