Washington’s Most Unexpected Bass Lake ! 🎣

I loaded up the truck, hopped on the ferry, and headed over to Orcas Island here in Washington State to see if I could check another fishing adventure off the list. The cool part? The only way to get there is by ferry! After the ride over, I found an awesome little freshwater lake sitting right on top of an island surrounded by the ocean… and of course I had to see if there were any bass hiding in it.

I didn’t bring my entire tackle collection with me either. I only packed the essentials, so this turned into a pretty fun challenge. I spent the day hopping from pocket to pocket along the bank, trying to find any little opening that looked like it might be holding a fish. Sometimes that’s all it takes!

This video also kicks off a new goal for the channel: I want to catch a fish on every island in Washington State that I can legally fish. Orcas Island is stop #1, and I’m excited to see where this challenge takes us next.
