Hagg Lake is getting LOW! 🎣 I hit Hagg Lake for a half day of late-summer bass fishing while the lake continues its seasonal drawdown. With warm temperatures, light winds, and smoky skies, conditions were good for getting out on the water — even if the low water made the fishing a little more challenging.

I managed to put a few bass in the kayak and enjoy a relaxing half day chasing fish around Hagg Lake. Low water can really change how bass position and behave, so it was interesting seeing how the fish were adjusting as the lake level dropped.
