Chasing 100 | A Day Of Topwater Fishing with a Modest Upgrade

A good day on the water, stuck with the topwater for most of the cloudy day.

I didn’t get every fish on video, but had a solid day with lots of 12-14 inch bass. I stuck with the topwater using a Westin Twin Turbo that landed fish all day on shallow edges of grass including a 17.25” largemouth for modest upgrade for the August monthly challenge.

That puts me at 88.25” toward my 100” goal. I’ve struggled to find the bigger fish this month, but there’s still about a week left and hopefully I can get out a couple more times.
