Canyon Lake Summer Bass Fishing – After the Rise – Similar/Same Spots – New Water Level
Third video in my Canyon Lake Bass Fishing Series.
One month after Canyon Lake jumped from about 60% to 100% full in just a few days, I went back to the exact same two spots from the first two videos in this series to see what changed.
Conditions:
• Thursday 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
• Air 85–95°
• Water high 80s
• Light wind, bluebird skies
• Lake at full pool
• Almost no boat traffic
I was honestly surprised by the number of bites. At the first spot I caught three largemouth from 1 to 2.5 pounds and had several more come unbuttoned.
This one is part comparison (before vs after the big rise) and part practical mid-summer pattern talk for South Texas lakes. Full breakdown of spots, lures, boat position, and graph screenshots coming in the video.

If you’re fishing Canyon or any other highland reservoir that just came up, this should give you some real-world reference points.
