Bass Fishing in 110° Heat (Gone Wrong) + Teaching My Son to Dock & Trailer a Boat

When the heat index hits 110°F+, even a morning on the bass boat gets tough! My son and I headed out at 7:00 AM (when it was already a sweltering 90°), hoping to catch some fish and spend quality time together.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. Between the blistering August heat and a stubborn zero-catch day, we had to call it quits after just one hour of fishing.

But not all was lost! Before heading home, I turned the trip into a valuable learning experience by teaching him step-by-step how to safely dock the boat and load it onto the trailer.

Like and subscribe if you’ve ever had one of those days on the water, and let me know in the comments how you handle extreme summer fishing heat!
