I Thought 6″ Glidebaits Would Be Easier…

Welcome back to another video!

In today’s video, I’m spending the day on the kayak trying to learn how to fish 6″ glidebaits for bass. I’ve been getting more and more into the swimbait game, and now I’m trying to figure out how to actually fish these bigger baits and get confident throwing them on the water.

I’ll be throwing the 6″ trickshad, working on my retrieves, experimenting with different areas, and trying to figure out what these baits are supposed to look like in the water. I’m still pretty new to glidebait fishing, so this trip was really about learning, gaining confidence, and figuring out what I need to do differently.

I didn’t exactly have the day I was hoping for, but that’s part of learning something new. Sometimes you catch fish, and sometimes you spend hours throwing a glidebait and wondering what you’re doing wrong 😂.

I’m still learning how to fish bigger baits here in New Hampshire, but I’m planning to keep putting in the time and hopefully get my first glidebait bass soon.

If you’re also learning how to fish glidebaits, let me know what tips or techniques have helped you the most! And if you enjoyed the video, be sure to like and subscribe for more kayak bass fishing, swimbait fishing, and fishing adventures.
