But this trip is also a trip down memory lane. I’m fishing with one of my original boyhood combos—a rare Garcia Mitchell 408 spinning reel mounted on a vintage Garcia Conolon blank. There’s just something special about catching bass on tackle that has been part of the journey for decades.
