A Texas Rig Isn’t Just for the Bottom
A Texas rig isn’t just for slowly fishing the bottom or pitching into heavy cover. Pair it with a small swimbait, and it becomes a simple, weedless swimming rig.
In this video, I use the Bottomup Volup Swimmer to catch bass by swimming a Texas rig off the bottom. I’ll also share never-before-seen footage of this same technique catching trout.
It’s easy to fish, resistant to snags, and especially effective around weeds and grass. Just don’t reel it too fast!
