St Clair Bass Fishing Report #15 08 07 2026

It’s Lake St. Clair, smallmouth bass summer bite season! For a while, it will be possible to pull up to the same spot from week-to-week and catch smallmouth most of the time. What changes is the size. This report follows up with success in the migration triangle that I covered in the last report. The two days we were out couldn’t have been more different. We worked harder for less on day 1, then enjoyed sweet success on day 2. If you have difficulty catching Lake St. Clair smallmouth in the summer months, this report is for you!
