BIG WATER, BIG FISH🎣 | Battling Wind on Lake Pend Oreille

I headed out to Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho with one goal: BIG WATER, BIG FISH.

The big fish didn’t exactly cooperate this time. 😂

We managed to put a couple smaller fish in the boat, but the wind was absolutely ripping and made fishing the big water tough. After battling it for a while, I packed up and made the move over to Twin Lakes hoping to find calmer water and hungry fish.

Twin Lakes gave up one more fish… but the wind followed me there too.

Not every fishing trip turns into a trophy-fish day, and that’s part of it. Sometimes you grind it out, change plans, try new water, and make the best of the conditions.
