St Clair Bass Fishing Report #14 07 31 2026

There are smallmouth bass everywhere on Lake St. Clair, but one thing places them into predictable spots and patterns: the migration. Smallmouth are on the move toward the St. Clair River and there is one pattern you will want to keep in your back pocket…the smallmouth migration triangle. Our best spot fell inside the triangle pattern this week and the action should continue in this zone for a couple more. We also revisit how smallmouth schools reposition with some diagrams, and underwater video. Stay on top of bass movement with this report so you will be fully informed for next week where we take on the “summer bite!”
