In this dual POV episode, Forrest and I head out for some exciting summertime bass fishing using the incredibly effective Wacky Worm technique. We’re fishing VMC Wacky Jig Hooks in both 1/16 oz and 1/8 oz sizes to tempt hungry largemouth bass throughout the day.

As the sun begins to set, we make the switch to topwater fishing, hoping the evening bite comes alive. One of our favorite surface lures is the Rapala Skitter Pop in the Lime color, and it doesn’t disappoint when the bass start looking for an easy meal on the surface.

Summer fishing doesn’t get much better than this—fun catches, great action, and an unforgettable evening on the water. As an added bonus, we wrap up the day by witnessing a truly spectacular sunset that perfectly ends another memorable adventure.
