Kayak Fishing ALMOST Ended in DISASTER (Lake Mohave)

Kayak fishing on Lake Mohave started out with an common kayak failure, then things took an unexpected turn! I launched out of Cottonwood Cove targeting smallmouth bass, and the morning bite was super consistent. I managed to land my biggest bass of the trip—a really solid largemouth on the 6th sense trace swimbait. We had a great family moment when I had to paddle over and help my mom land her biggest smallmouth bass yet!

Out of nowhere, my custom 3D-printed kayak seat risers completely snapped mid-trip, dropping me backward and almost sending my favorite rod straight to the bottom of the lake! After a quick on-the-water emergency repair, the desert winds picked up, bringing 20mph+ gusts that turned the calm coves into a very choppy, panic paddle back to the marina.
