Swim Bait Build (BB = Big Butt)

In this video I walk through my full process for making a custom swimbait with a little twist: it’s built with an oversized tail section, which is why I call it the “BB” – short for Big Butt. This bait is all about adding extra thump, wobble, and body roll in the water to get more attention from bass, especially in pressured or dirty water.

I will cover the build: adding details, sealing, and painting the bait with a fishy, realistic finish that still shows off the custom shape. I go over weighting and hook placement so the BB swims the way it’s meant to, with a heavy kick from the back end and a nice body roll that big bass can’t ignore.
