The In Deep On The Delta Weekly Fishing Report For 7/2/2026.
#fishing #bassfishing #californiadelta
Another full moon bite looks like it’s coming to an end. The dreaded waning gibbous moon is upon us, and that usually means the bite will start to slow down. The next week or so could be a little more challenging for Delta bass anglers.
No worries, though. The river is in good shape, water temperatures are steady and slowly rising, and the smaller fish have continued to provide consistent action. If you’re looking for a trophy bass, you might want to wait a few days before taking time off work. The bottom line is there are still plenty of opportunities to get out on the Delta and catch good numbers of 1- to 2-pound bass.
We’ll have all the information you need to help you make the most of your time on the Delta. And if you’re looking for a change of scenery, we’ll also have reports from the top-producing Mother Lode lakes.
Thanks for watching. Be safe, have fun, and we’ll see you on the water.
