I have fished The Menai straits and beach areas with large rocks and boulders plus very heavy weed beds and kelp beds for years .

And over this time my fishing techniques have evolved to how I fish now
I am able to fish for the likes of Bass Wrasse Pollack in very heavy weed
beds with almost no tackle loss and not get my intended bait for the fish I target being stripped in seconds by crabs or small fish .

The method am using can be done either of a night or day with ease
I can simply cast the dog ball float where I want it to fish and then simply trap it close on the weed bed edge to keep it still .

Upon retrieve it just bounces over the weed with ease and no snagging or tackle loss.

Cheers Brian.
