Fishing Lake Simcoe for Smallmouth Bass with storms roaming around. I came across a school of Perch and switched from my bass combo to my Panfish setup – Fire Phoenix Carbon Fiber 5ft length rod, paired with a KastKing Kestrel 1000 SFS Carbon Body, 6lb Braid to 6lb Berkley Fluorosheild. After a few perch I hooked a BIG bass, lots of fun on the UL!!
