Catching a Mixed Bag at Blue Rock Dam on Lures and Worm's

Blue Rock was kind to me this afternoon, i did some lure and bait fishing in one of my favourite spots, I hadn’t been to this part of the lake in while, I like to go there when there is a westerly, and that’s what we had today, I actually arrived early, around 2.00pm, drove around to a few spots first, then decided to head to my favourite cove, after looking at conditions ect, the stocked trout were around again, i had a few decent ones follow a presso hard body in, including a big brown trout, I caught one very small redfin on the hard body, not long after changing to a small mepps Spinner, i managed to land a tiny Rainbow, from the recent stocking, from around 4.00pm i just bait fished with Jan Juc Fishing Worms 🪱 i got 2 bass around the 24-25cm, then a redfin that was about 22cm, I then i got my last fish of the session, which was fish of the day, a lovely bass going 32.5cm to be exact 😆 🤣

Well while there is no snow at Mt Baw Baw, afternoon session’s at Blue Rock will keep me busy!
