Summer bass fishing ( finding bass shallow and deep)

Had an awesome day at the lake. The plan was fish up shallow with big baits before sunrise but got there late. Majority of the fish was out deep targeting points, ledges and shaded cover.
Had to make adjustments throughout the day to get bit.
