Never leave fish to find fish… (Fishing New Albion Lake)

Fishing at New Albion Lake, Cabic Pond, and Lake Flavia with my friends Shane and Ethan (@ethandg_15). We each caught several brown trout at New Albion Lake and I also caught a big brown bullhead and a few decent largemouth bass. Shane caught the big trout of the day at 16.5″. Shane caught a small largemouth bass at Cabic Pond and a few small northern pike at Lake Flavia off camera. I missed a big trout at Lake Flavia.

At the end of the day we realized we should have followed the age-old rule of “never leave fish to find fish” and should have just stated at New Albion Lake were we were on a decent bite. It still made for a fun day of exploring Cattaraugus County.
