My son and I hit the Perdido River hoping to put him on some quality bass, but the fish had other plans. I managed to catch a few throughout the day, but no matter what we tried—changing lures, switching spots, and adjusting our approach—we just couldn’t get him a bite.
Even when the fishing gets tough, these father-and-son trips are what it’s all about. Every cast is a lesson, every missed opportunity builds experience, and every day on the water is a memory we’ll never forget.
