Lake of the Ozarks Bass Fishing – 15 Jun 2026 | Fishing report

We fished Lake of the Ozarks around the Pa He Tsi area on 15 June 2026. We started at 0846 and wrapped up around 1434, giving us about 5 hours and 48 minutes on the water.

It turned out to be a good day. We finished with 34 total fish, 7 keepers, and 31.2 pounds of total fish weight. Our best five went 10.8 pounds.

The bait of the day was definitely the Zoom Speed Craw in green pumpkin. Billy had some sitting around for a couple of years, rigged one Texas style on an EWG hook, and the bass liked it right away. I switched over to it too, and we did very well with it until we ran out. The Speed Craw finished with 18 fish and 3 keepers, making it the clear producer for the day.

After we ran out of Speed Craws, Billy switched over to a green pumpkin Brush Hog Jr., and that caught fish too. We also caught fish on a PBJ worm, white swimbait, blue worm, popper, and green pumpkin jig, but the Speed Craw was the main pattern.

Most of our fish came on the bank. The boat docks were not too bad either, but the bank bite was where we spent most of our time and where the Speed Craw really shined. The wind was pretty light early, then picked up some in the afternoon.

Our best fish was a 2.48-pounder, and we had a couple more solid keepers in the 2-pound range. Overall, it was a strong numbers day with enough keepers mixed in to make it interesting. The biggest takeaway was simple: when they wanted that green pumpkin Speed Craw, they really wanted it. Next time, we’ll make sure we have more than one old pack laying around.
